Spinning cube

Stop motion

First experiment: a Rubik's Cube spinning around.

It took almost 15 min to shoot the 32 frames. Although I used a tripod, it still moved a bit and the shots were uneven. Also some pictures were a bit darker than the other ones.

I corrected the frames on the computer (which took MUCH longer - a few hours). I need to find a way to take really stable shots, and also control the movement much better.

Remote

I don't know what kind of camera you're using, but I've been using a remote for my DSLR. The remote only cost me ~$5 I think, on eBay, and I don't have to touch the camera any more to shoot each frame! Cuts down on the wobbling.
